- A cultural day-off 문화적인 일 떨어져

Last Thursday was Children's day so we didn't work. At this occasion, we decided to visit Gyeongbokgung palace 경복궁. 

Gyeongbokgung palace is the biggest of the 5 Joseon 조선 dynasty palace. It is also considered as the most beautiful one.

I was so excited when my friends told me that we were going to visit a palace. It is the first one I visit.

It is a little bit like visiting the palace of Versailles for tourists in France. This kind of places is full in history and culture. 

For the palace anniversary the entrance was free. Good and bad news at the same time because free means a lot of people. But anyway, I was so excited to think about that. In fact, we choose one of the best days to visit. There was a lot of animation. 

 

When we arrived, a traditional ceremony has been taking place.

Men were sitting on the floor and women were dancing in circle. 

I was impressed by the rigor of these persons. Indeed, even wearing their dress uniforms and the hotness, they remained graceful and cheerful.

After the ceremony, we visited all the palace sections. The palace is huge. Our visit lasted more than hours. It was exhausting but amazing at the same. I learnt a lot of thing about the Joseon 조선dynasty's way of life.

Do you know that the king and the queen didn't live in the same house?

To conclude, I spent an amazing day. Moreover, this lovely palace is surrounded by a mountain and buildings, so the view is amazing. 

That is  what I expected to see where I decided to come in Seoul 서울: modernity and traditional 현대성과 전통 at the same time.

-My arrival in Seoul (서을)

I arrived in Seoul (서을) on Thursday 14th after a trip of 18 hours from Paris (파리). It was such an exhausting trip because my flight had been delayed 5 hours during my stop in London (런던).

                     

Exiting my british airlines flight, I couldn't realize that i was in Asia and in Korea (대한민국)
At the airport, I was like a kid fascinated by all these new things that I was discovering.
My colleague Diena went to pick me up. I felt so blessed to have her helping me for
my first steps in Seoul (서을).

My first impression of Seoul (서을) has been really positive. I have been so impressed by the dynamism of the city: all these restaurants, shops, markets etc...I'm so impatient to discover the culture/habits, visit famous places, eat some traditional food. I think I will not ever be bored in this city.

Today was my first day at work. This morning, we had a meeting where I could discover the firm (Redergen - 리더겐), the products and meet my colleagues. 

Now, I realize the chance I have to work and live in a wonderful like Seoul.

Before arriving here i thought that i would be lost in this big city but I was totally wrong because I already feel like ...at home.

- Palace at night

Exceptionally, the five great palace of Seoul, are open by night until 04/04. So we decided to go at one of them, Changyeonggung palace. 

It have a lot of people, but it was nice !

The first view when we entered in this palace, it was this pretty cherry blossom illuminated by a light just beside and the ending look pretty. So we took some pictures and we continued our visit. 

After the second door, it have a open corridor when we saw far away Namsan Tower, it was very pretty, and I thought "Namsan tower... again".   

And it was just at the third door, that we were really inside the palace. It was a little bit dark because it doesn't have many lights, but it was very pretty and make it peaceful. 

All the palace was like this, not really lighting but very beautiful. It was particularly beautiful because 꽃 which are all on the palace. 

We take too many pictures front lights, 꽃 and lake.

And for the end, beside all this historic place, then constructed a greenhouse. it was all in glass and then very beautiful, front of this greenhouse, they installed a fountain, it was not working but it was still beautiful.

In this greenhouse, it have many plants, 꽃, 나무. And, we took some pictures with it. 

But, some pictures of Sarah was a little bit 이상한 (strange), because she seems like eat plants ㅋㅋㅋㅋ. So I don't want to show you, you will be scaredㅋㅋㅋㅋ.

To conclude, it was very beautiful and interesting to visit it by night. But, I would like to visit it by day, I think it will be very different.

- Seollal's holidays

when we were searching about a place to visit we saw in a tourism's book, Ihwa mural village. 

I recognized this place because of dramas. so we decided to go at Ihwa mural village

. 

this place is very famous I think because it have a lot of people there. it have an university and big shop avenue. 

when we go at the real mural village, I was very amazed about all grafitti and we took many pictures of that. 

 we walk all along the wall when I took my pictures and we go down the big avenue.

when we were front of university we saw a man who's dancing and after a long day we go at home because the after day we had to work at Redergen company.   

It was really beauty but later I will go to buy this old school uniform, it's so beauty ! :D

3 days before internship at Redergen

- Visiting neighborhood with Sarah 

Sarah and me were very tired, when we arrived Sunday, so our Redergen's manager told us to debut at Thursday. 

Monday was really quite to me because I was just sleeping, because of Jet lag and visit at the afternoon with my homeowner. but Tuesday, Sarah come at home and we visit my neighborhood. 

We ate teobokki with ramen it was too delicious !

Even if I was a little bit tired it was good~ we saw people how they are living, because 26th Wednesday, January we go at e-mart, it was very cheap than France, so very interesting.
