Gyeongbokgung palace visit by Redergen's interns 리더겐의 수련의 에의한 경복궁 궁전방문 


- A cultural day-off 문화적인 일 떨어져

Last Thursday was Children's day so we didn't work. At this occasion, we decided to visit Gyeongbokgung palace 경복궁. 

Gyeongbokgung palace is the biggest of the 5 Joseon 조선 dynasty palace. It is also considered as the most beautiful one.

I was so excited when my friends told me that we were going to visit a palace. It is the first one I visit.

It is a little bit like visiting the palace of Versailles for tourists in France. This kind of places is full in history and culture. 

For the palace anniversary the entrance was free. Good and bad news at the same time because free means a lot of people. But anyway, I was so excited to think about that. In fact, we choose one of the best days to visit. There was a lot of animation. 

 

When we arrived, a traditional ceremony has been taking place.

Men were sitting on the floor and women were dancing in circle. 

I was impressed by the rigor of these persons. Indeed, even wearing their dress uniforms and the hotness, they remained graceful and cheerful.

After the ceremony, we visited all the palace sections. The palace is huge. Our visit lasted more than hours. It was exhausting but amazing at the same. I learnt a lot of thing about the Joseon 조선dynasty's way of life.

Do you know that the king and the queen didn't live in the same house?

To conclude, I spent an amazing day. Moreover, this lovely palace is surrounded by a mountain and buildings, so the view is amazing. 

That is  what I expected to see where I decided to come in Seoul 서울: modernity and traditional 현대성과 전통 at the same time.

New Redergen's Intern Diena arrival /  새로운 프랑스 인턴 Diena, 리더겐에 오다

- First time in Korea

I was so exited to come because it was my first time going this far (Paris/Seoul). The trip goes very well with Qatar airways. The food in the plane was delicious ^^ I also had a stop at Doha. 

So my friends came bring me to my new "칩" near to 서을역. There are a lot of shops and restaurants. And what I appreciate the most is that Seoul is a living city with a lot of people and tourists.

Sunday, I wanted to visit a place but we couldn't because we had to many things to do... and also it was raining. It was a simple week-end, yeah. This night, I didn't really sleep, I was thinking about what will happened Monday at the company, with my roommates. 

I had a lot of expectation of this city and the company because my friends were already here and they seem to enjoy Korean life style so I hope everything goes well for me too.

I hope I will have a lot of funny days and good memories in Korea !

the 1th day in Korea for internship at brand Redergen

the 1th day in Korea for internship at brand Redergen 

- In plane for Seoul, Korea

22th January, we took the plane with Sarah direction Seoul at 3:00 pm, I was a little afraid and I was expecting of many bad situation. 

it's my first time to travel outside Europe and outside home, so this is very important to me. 

When we were at plane, we were to exciting because Korea is a country that we love, so working at a company as Redergen is a chance for us.

so when the pilot said "we are now in Italy", I just told in myself "let's go to Korea, and let's have fun !". 

we don't take an plane directly for Seoul, but we passed at Doha, in Qatar.

Even if it was just for 2 hours, we just like it. it have a big teddy, and car, many restaurant and shops, it was wonderful. And then, we take the plane for Seoul and we come at 23th January at 16:00 at Incheon. 

we were so exciting and happy to be here. 

it was the night, when I was at home. I'm not living with Sarah because we are thinking that it will be a little too much. so when I was at home, I feel very strange, i said to me "this is my home, this is mine".

I though that I will like Korea, but now that I'm here, I definitely love it.
